A5947: FlashRunner 2.0 platform now supports A5947 motor driver from Allegro MicroSystems

SMH Technologies is excited to announce the support for the A5947 motor driver on the FlashRunner 2.0 platform, thus, including now Allegro MicroSystems, a silicon producer, in the broad portfolio of manufacturers already supported.

FlashRunner 2.0 supports A5947 in I2C to program the EEPROM, as the device uses standard fast mode I2C serial port format.

The three-phase motor driver A5947 represents a top solution for a wide variety of fan applications to meet market demand.

Thanks to its built-in sinusoidal sensorless BLDC control algorithm and programmable speed curve, it eliminates the requirement for a microprocessor-based system and software development.

It also reduces PCB space by including multiple external components.
