Introduction
SMH Technologies increased again its portfolio by supporting the Analog Devices DARWIN family.
The DARWIN MCUs are based on the Arm® Cortex®-M4 core architecture, featuring Floating Point
Unit (FPU) and up to 3MB Flash memory.
DARWIN MCUs are low-power microcontrollers built to rapidly evolve in the field of Internet of
Things (IoT). These smart architectures have the biggest memories for the applications they are used in and provide very high scalability when looking for suitable solutions.
DARWIN microcontrollers are designed for high-performance, battery-powered applications to handle the increasingly complex applications demanded by today’s advanced battery-powered devices and wireless sensors.
FlashRunner’s ISP Technology supports the DARWIN series through the Serial Wire Debug (SWD)
interface, providing a reliable and efficient solution for programming and testing during the
manufacturing process. This integration ensures fast, stable, and low-cycle time flashing, crucial for
high-volume production environments. The FlashRunner ISP’s compatibility with the DARWIN
Generation UP series enhances production line performance, reducing operational costs and time-
to-market for new products.
